Against the backdrop of the International Conference on Afghanistan that was held in Kabul on 20 July, Federal Minister of Defence Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg has cautioned again that a firm date for the withdrawal of NATO troops should not be set at this point in time. The Conference in the Afghan capital had brought together representatives of the United Nations, other international organisations and many partner countries.
