Dr Katrin Suder
The Directors-General for Equipment and for Cyber and Information Technology report directly to State Secretary Katrin Suder. She is also responsible for the Directorate-General for Planning affairs. With respect to planning matters, the Chief of Defence is assigned to her as the direct superior of the Director-General for Planning.

Former civil service (Regierungsrat); former head of the land registry office of the city of Dresden; former desk officer for electronic data processing, organisation and land registry affairs at the Saxon State Ministry of Justice;notary public in Stuttgart (currently dormant).
Member of the Kolpingwerk (Kolping Society), member of the VdK Deutschland Welfare Association, president of the Esslingen Brass Band Association.
